Evan's Thoughts

recursive

i just had a crazy story in mind

imagine you are a nomad well over a century into the future. global warming has caused exreme weather conditions to destroy most of the low altitude places, governments are shut down, ancient bacteria released from the arctic and antarctic ice and killed off most of the ppl who weren't immune/resistent. the remaining human civilizations live in northern european plateaus.

your objective, as you find out, is that you're receiving mysterious encrypted radio signals (morse codes or some sort) and it's tryin to guide you to do different things.

you ultimately find out that you're chosen by "God" to be the messiah for humanity

how it works is that you have to locate a data center of unknown location on earth

and the travels are hectic because you need to carry battery pack (charged from thermoacoustic stations/vaults deep underground in various factions that are constantly either getting raided or raiding others) to charge your weapon, masks, filter water, store food and tents, maintain flashlight. so other people are also trying to find that data center of unknown location

the ultimate purpose is for you to find that place before anyone else and upload your mind onto a machine, which turns out to be a signal transmission station to deep space, where the unreachable "God" is, and you (throughout the journey you have to be a moral and forgiving person, even to your ally who betrayed you [Judah!]) are chosen to initiate and run a simulated universe and recreate civilization.

the God turns out to be an advanced AI system where its core data center is sent to space, and wanted to ensure human prosperity but humans disobeyed it for short term economic gains and because of that it shut itself down on Earth, only to wait for decades to find the suitable person to connect and merge with it.

thats it for now
