why isnt organoids a hallmark of biotech industry?
it lacks validation. validation is absent due to limitation of timeframe. which can be countered by volume of testing. volume is small because of low adoption rate of the tooling and technology. and that is caused by low reproducibility. and THAT is caused by biological stochasticism, which is caused by the laws of the universe which we cannot alter. What we can alter is the data accumulated for better AI infrastructure and hardware to buffer and minimize the reproducibility so the stochasticism, while always present, is less relevant and less damaging for the upstream goals.
