currently listening to the relentless podcast with lada on the show. she is saying that the right mindset to frame longevity research isn't to say that our lab is better than the other, but is to frame the collective effort as good when milestones are reached, internal or external of your research group. because it is a collective effort. you enjoy the fruit no matter who is the laborer. and that doesn't stop you from trying to be the laborer. this is literally the healthiest mindset in the competitive realm of deep tech.
