it would be interesting to see a story about a leading scientist (preferably female b/c i want women in stem) being the person who cracked aging, but the biotech company she works for plans to make those treatments available only to government officials and the billionares, which pisses her off so she starts secretly developing a superbioweapon that targets only the politicians and billionaires, getting the bioweapon released into the public, destroying the entire political and social establishment for her to create a global technocracy with her being the person in charge. Then the aging solution becomes widely available to people of all classes. climate change gets reversed, but then there is an internal battle between the scientists within the new technocratic government. she could also be morally ambiguous/corrupt.
